As long as private ownership of enhanced radiation weapons is protected we have nothing to fear from nano-robots.

The list of published books grows. If you're curious to see what sort of stories I weave out, head to Amazon.com and do an author search for "Christopher Hartpence." Help support Candle'Bre, a game created by gamers FOR gamers. All proceeds from my published works go directly to the project.

Jumping is for pussies. I'm gonna keep looking for the hammer. I tried the meat tenderizer in the kitchen but it doesn't seem bulky enough. If only we hadn't gotten rid of the sledgehammer when we moved...

Most objections about nanotech I've heard come from Greens, by a wide margin.

Did they consider environmentalism to be a religion in this study?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Eco-hippies have their heads so far up their asses it counts as a religion IMO...

I doubt this study's findings. The US is more religious than Europe by a wide margin, but the US public has accepted new technology more eagerly in the past. See, e.g., GMO foods.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Yes, even religious nutters are all for stem cell research. Good example.

I have heard of no such severe limits.
