    This is exactly what the US needs, Chrysler and GM are taking books from the sub-prime mortgage crisis and is trying to get people who can't afford to buy cars to buy them.

      Or rather, getting loans from well qualified people who just aren't able to get loans because of the credit crisis. The good news is the credit crisis is mostly confined to big banks.
