You are ascribing a genetic problem that some jews experience as proof of race. It proves the opposite as all jews don't fit the subgroup (race).

70% are. But that's really irrelevent to the point at hand which was to illustrate that choice wrt religion doesn't negate one's ethnicity.

Your claim is b/c a subset of a particular religion's adherents are susceptable to a particular disease then the religion must be a (quasi) race.

To me it is a convenient argument for jews (once a jew always a jew) but ignores the choice of religion. The atheist you mentioned earlier doesn't suddenly become a jew again if he contracts a particular disorder. The disease has nothing to do with what mythical beings he does (or doesn't) subscribe to.

Old order Mennonites (Amish) have a very limited gene pool and the problems that come with that. Perhaps in a few hundred years we can consider them a race as well. I'm sure they will accumulate some nasty genes in the community over that time.

He's an adopted Liberian who grew up in Sweden with a Swedish name. Then he turned neonazi and volonteered as a mercenary on the Croatian side of the Bosnian war. He was eventually caught and put to prison by the Bosnians (I think) but was released in a general amnesty after the war. He returned to Sweden where he joined a neonazi group and became a bank robber, to raise money for the cause (and probably for his own wealth). After he shot two policemen dead, he was one of the most hunted men on Sweden, ever. He now serves a life sentence in jail. Despite the former amnesty, he has also been on trial in Sweden for war crimes on the Balkans. He's so far the only Swedish convict guilty of war crimes after WW2.
