      Looks like we can kiss those hostages goodbye. At least a seizure by western or Saudi special ops might have limited the collateral damage.

        Very ethical Islamists - it is ok to steal, as long as it isn't from muslims.

        But I guess it is potentially a good start - Taliban in Afghanistan did succeed in shutting down most of the opium trade, so there is a good precedent.

          The Islamicists only care about ships from muslim countries, so they're not going to stop pirates from going after Ukranian, Phillipino, Dutch, American, British or any other non-mulim ships. The Islamicists might even be pleased with the seizure of the Ukranian ship carrying tanks to Kenya since those ships may have been ultimately destined for rebels fighting the Sudanese regime in south Sudan.
