            Since this planet's four times farther out from its parent than Neptune, does that mean the Fomalhaut system could have dozens of planets, or would the effects of gravity militate against this?

              the first planet outside solar system was discovered some 10 years ago or so by a polish astronom, prof. Wolszczan, but without actually "seeing" one.
