Obama was talking about deployable nation builders, not an armed group like the NKVD.

Our yardstick for politics/economics is quite broken as Imran implies. The Nazis and the Commies represent the Hegelian Right and the Hegelian left. All these Nationalistic first, state controlled economies that come from Hegel's theories are on the "left" side of the standard political yardstick. In fact, when considering Government control they look very much the same viewed from a capitalist, republican (small "r") viewpoint. However, only a complete hypocrite brings up Hitler in one sentence then denies he is comparing his opponent to him in the next one.

This kind of nonsense makes me wonder if the extreme wing of the Republicans is trying to induce a loose wingnut into shooting Obama, to save the country from Hitlerian Communism. Not that the juxtaposed terms aren't ridiculous, but this Georgian politico is not talking to the regular populace. So who is he talking to?
