    Let us speak disparagingly of pop-up ads

    I mean, really. Has anyone ever clicked on one of these annoying things? Ever!?

    They must be the most annoying invention ever developed by mad scientists.

    I mention this because the past couple of days, I've been bombardeded with them while I've been trying to post on Poly. They turn an otherwise pleasant experience into a living nightmare!

    I hate them, hate them, hate them!

                They used to bug me but the ISP I use has a pop up guard built in. I think there are pop up guards that can be downloaded for free but have no idea where.

                  I get very few pop-ups, maybe one per week, running Windows Vista Home Premium and Internet Explorer 7. This version of the browser blocks nearly all of them on my machine.
