  • Help needed - what is the average postal worker payed in US ?

I need some stats in a local debate - it's claimed that you can get a postcard from Hawaii to Lyngby/denmark for 5.44 DKR while it costs 5.50 DKR to send a a card from Kopenhagen to Lyngby (approx 15 km)

    (5 DKR ~ $1)

A quick estimate is apparently around $17 cross experience/worktype.

        Off topic - that sucks

That's about right, on both observations.

I wouldn't want to walk around in rain nor snow nor dark of night, delivering the mail; and on top of all that, as if that's not enough, you have you to put it in the correct mailbox.
