Note that I'd like to kill Fannie as much as the next guy. But they aren't to blame for this.

Yeeeeeah... because Euros weren't involved in dumb policies which bit them when their housing bubble burst? Remind me again when Northern Rock had to be bailed out?

Oh, please.... you know full well that for all intents and purposes Western Europe has been part of the American empire since WW2 (with the possible exception of France and perhaps Germany after it became unified).

It doesn't matter who we elect he will always follow the US's lead, this is especially true of Ex-commie states.

In any case, yes many Euros contributed to the crissis, but what about Eastern Europe? We surely have the right to b1tch...

Why should I stop talking? My troll seems to be working wonderfully.

In any case even when drunk I still have enough raw processing power to outsmart everyone just with brute force... or just posting very very frequently.

If something is a troll you generally don't advertise that fact.

Certainly not solely, but they were the biggest players in the subprime/Alt-A securitization game. What makes their behavior really infuriating is that they abused their implicit government backing to run up huge amounts of leverage while their cronies in Washington did all they could to protect them.

Generally yes... but think about it, people don't expect you to admit to trolling and will generally ignore you if you do.

In any case the crisis started in the US so I'm blaming them... it seems to make sense in a ultra simplistic sort of way and I've found that adopting the average opinion on the street saves you much time and agony.
