Perverts are one thing. Its possible to be a perv and not hurt anyone. Well, anyone who isn't also a perv. The rapists and pedophiles...the last I spend on them is the cost of a .45 round. Sorry

Honestly, most of the people who posted in this thread are frightening me. Cutting off a man's head with a sickle in self-defense!? Does anyone realize how difficult it is to decapitate a person - with a sickle?
It's impressive she pulled it off on a man. I suspect she decapitated him after he was unconscious or dead already, because holding a man locked tight while cutting off the head is a difficult combination.
So you all adhere to the OT biblical an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth then. And I reckoned everyone in here had enjoyed a christian education (of some sorts). Why do you all hate Jesus?

I don't know anything about this case and I suspect that only the cops do.
Regarding the death penalty for people who sexually abuse children, I'm a believer in Jesus and I would have no problem ending such a persons life on this earth.
But don't think I'm average around here, I'm certainly the exception. How other believers feel about such I honestly haven't a clue.

If thou believest in ze Jesus then thou shalt not kill thy fellow man!
Cast down your old beliefs and repent, sinnah!

I am under the impression the very religious are often in favour of harsh and strict punishment like the death penalty.

How many hacks would one need to decapitate someone with a sickle? Given how difficult it was for trained executioners to chop a head off with an axe, unless that sickle was a well made and as sharp as a Katana (which I doubt), that woman must have used several strokes.
I can understand possibly killing the man by aiming a blow at his neck with the sickle, and cutting his throat open or severing the spinal cord, but a complete decapitation had to take some effort.

How many hacks? I would think one, if she took care of her tools. Would five make a difference? She'd had enough.

Damn, I'm so glad I live in the civilized part of the world, where the DP is not practiced.
No state has any right taking a man's life.
And individuals only have that right in self defense if there are no alternatives.

Hey, I'm Xian and I don't applaud this. I don't decry it either just because I don't know what exactly happened--and any woman who marches through town carrying a severed head is probably not all there upstairs, so we can't really take her word for it. Probably we'll never know all the details. All I'm going to do is remark that India belongs next to Japan in a new "Axis of WTF."

I don't think one would be nearly enough, and sickles were not made to cut through flesh and bone which is harder than cutting through stalks of grass.
As for the issue of making a difference, 1 might be enough to kill, and end any threat. Going the extra mile to cut the head off, magnified by her act of displaying the head in public, shows that this woman was likely EDP, which can raise questions about her claims.
