Joe's story is heartwrenching. If he make more than $250,000 profit, his taxes will go up. It's gotta be though when a guy can't live on $250,000/year.

But Joe's name in Joe, not Samuel.
Joe's his middle name.
Samuel Joe Wurzelbacher.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

The thing is, he doesn't make anywhere close to $250,000 currently. He's not even a licensed plumber, he works for another plumber who is. It was all a hypothetical about how if someday he was able to buy his own plumbing business, and if that business made over $250,000 in profit...
Either way, the two bits that destroyed McCain for me were his sneering reference to the "health of the mother" and his hatred of science and learning.
His googly eyes over Obama's "zero fine" were amusing, and his attacks on Ayers were laughable.
Strong showing at the beginning, but that's because he was trying for shock and awe. He wasn't prepared for the drawn out engagement, nor did he really have an exit strategy, instead trying to throw every single thing up to see what would stick.
OsamaOsama, uh, Osama, er, --Obama-- just waited him out.
So...he's not so much "Joe the Plumber" as he is "Sam the Plumber's Friend?"
This is starting to remind me of a Radio Erevan joke.

Yep. I also appreciated the eye-rolling when Obama was talking about assassinated trade union leaders in Colombia...
