    • Well, maybe there's a reason Joe is so concerned about taxes. Looks like he may be a tax dodger!

      Say it ain't so, Joe!

        • Joe's story is heartwrenching. If he make more than $250,000 profit, his taxes will go up. It's gotta be though when a guy can't live on $250,000/year.

The link goes directly to the Lucas Co., OH court records page. It's probably overloaded with hits now that the word is getting out.

I caught that after I posted. So I edited...making it look as if you've misquoted me. How dare you!

The thing is, he doesn't make anywhere close to $250,000 currently. He's not even a licensed plumber, he works for another plumber who is. It was all a hypothetical about how if someday he was able to buy his own plumbing business, and if that business made over $250,000 in profit...

In summary, Joe was one big red herring.

So...he's not so much "Joe the Plumber" as he is "Sam the Plumber's Friend?"

                          • Either way, the two bits that destroyed McCain for me were his sneering reference to the "health of the mother" and his hatred of science and learning.

His googly eyes over Obama's "zero fine" were amusing, and his attacks on Ayers were laughable.

Strong showing at the beginning, but that's because he was trying for shock and awe. He wasn't prepared for the drawn out engagement, nor did he really have an exit strategy, instead trying to throw every single thing up to see what would stick.

This is starting to remind me of a Radio Erevan joke.
