  • Necromant vs Diablo

    Hi

    I decided to play Diablo, but this time a Necromant. I liked my army of minions (eventually 4 skeletons, 3 skeleton mages, 1 blood golem), and my hire hero was doing well as well. But problem was that while my army of minions was good when handling lots of tiny creatures, it sucked when confronted with one large one. But I overcame all problems... Until I reached Diablo. One blow of his and all my minions are gone. And my hero is not strong enough to deal with him. I could at best give him 0,2 damages. I am level 28, close to 29.

    My idea is to get to level 29, and put all my additional points into strenght. It will allow me to use a giant hammer. While reducing my defence, it will grant me a couple more times damages. Also, it says 1/4 strucks ends in escape of the creature, so my idea is hit him as much as I can, then he espapes, I follow him, hit him, he escapes etc.
    But it really sucks.

      It's been a long time since I played, but IIRC I didn't go toe-to-toe with Diablo, I summoned a golem to distract him (repeatedly), put a curse on him so he'd take damage when he attacked, and threw bone spirits and bone spears at him while running for my life.

        The act bosses get some ridiculous bonus (x10 IIRC) against minions and summons. That puts the necro and occasionally the druid at a distinct disadvantage. Lord Avalon has the right idea.

        You might want to grind until 30 to get bone spirit. At level one it's not much good, but it could eventually become your bread and butter attack.

          Just ask a high lvl character to kill him for you, save yourself the trouble.

            wtf if {v} character?

            I have a hero that accompanies me from the beginning. She's level 28 or so. But I lost all my money due to the necessity to pay 6000 each time me or she is killed.

            must check out this bone spirit.

              lvl = level

              Btw, I could kill him for you right now if you want.

                  But I want to kill him myself, or by my vassal, or by my minions

                    I will try doing it myself. If I fail continously, I'll ask You, thank You

                      It's just frustrating killing Diablo with a low level necro, trust me I have done it myself.

                        Why is 28 low level
                        To get higher, I'd have to go through already done stuff again and again, to get more experience.

                            Are you playing Diablo right now? If so, open a channel named Heresson and we can continue the discussion there
