I'm consitently stupid- Japher I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned
Well don't make assumptions, its worth a check. I remember going to my doc to try to find out about why I felt so weak. He blamed the diabetes even when I knew it wasn't. Just couldn't see past the obvious. It turn out to be addisons as we discussed years ago. But! I had to go to the ER and refuse to leave until they figured it out. I knew if I left I was dead. I'm strong now. Used to have to put a chair in the shower and shower a bit at a time.
Maybe the heart problem was caused by something else, one of these levels that the docs never look at. Worth trying...

Jon, if you have signs of weakness where before you were stong, go get you adrenal levels checked. You can google all this to get a better understanding.

I am a bit of a hypocrondiac, but maybe I will ask my doctor when I see him again (I should this month?).
Symptoms include:
* excessive fatigue and exhaustion
Not at your levels, but I think I have more fatigue than I should have.
* non-refreshing sleep (you get sufficient hours of sleep, but wake fatigued)
Similar
* overwhelmed by or unable to cope with stressors
Sometimes
* feeling rundown or overwhelmed
Sometimes
* craving salty and sweet foods
True
* you feel most energetic in the evening
True
* a feeling of not being restored after a full night's sleep or having sleep disturbances
Sometimes, too often I feel. Sometimes I just need to pee over and over again at night.
* low stamina, slow to recover from exercise
Yeah. I have a hard time keeping up lifting for over 30 minutes despite lifting 1-3 times per week for a couple of years (With just a couple breaks of 4-8 weeks during that time).
* slow to recover from injury, illness or stress
This isn't true, I don't really get sick/etc.
* difficulty concentrating, brain fog
Sometimes
* poor digestion
I don't think so?
* low immune function
I rarely get sick
* food or environmental allergies
Allergies haven't been much of a problem the last couple of years.
* premenstrual syndrome or difficulties that develop during menopause
No
* consistent low blood pressure
No
* extreme sensitivity to cold
No
Hmm, maybe I will ask? Or focus on the fact that sometimes at night I get really thirsty and have to pee a whole lot (this can sometimes keep me up later than I intend... it doesn't always happen though).

You need a blood test to determine adrenals. Have them check testosterone levels while they are at it.
Realize that only 1/100,000 have addisons. The salty thing makes it a bit more likely however. Also if you tan up really easy, that's another good indicator.
Its a progressive thing. I went through what you are dealing with now before I got to where I was before the dianosis. Pretty much everything you listed. The really good news is that if it is addisons then 3 pills a day and you're right as rain, full recovery.

I had most of these, I was amazed to see that all my body needed was daily exercise. It was all magically fixed. I feel back to normal now. (Which was about the age of 15!)
