NIAAA says one to two drinks a day (for a man) is moderation. What it doesn't say though is whether or not how you consume the alcohol effects the possible health benefits. Two drinks for me would be one big glass of wine. I could sip on it over the course of a meal, even going so far as to stretch it over an hour or two. Or I could down it in under a minute!
My common sense says to stretch it out, and not just because it tends to be more enjoyable to do so. On the other I'm not really sure why I think that. Maybe it is just because it would be more enjoyable.
What do you guys think? Or perhaps know?
