  • Jury reaches verdict in O.J. Simpson trial - 13 years to the day

It's been exactly 13 years since O.J. Simpson was acquitted of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. Today, a jury in Las Vegas has reached a verdict in his trial on 12 charges, including kidnapping and armed robbery.

No news of the verdict yet, but my fingers are crossed for 12 of 12 convictions.

    I hope he does life.

And O.J. is guilty on all 12 counts. Hallelujah.

Here's hoping for life in prison

EDIT: CNN reports the kidnapping charge alone mandates a minimum of 15 years in prison, and the other charges at least 1-2 years. Since he's 61, he will effectively spend the rest of his life in prison.

I really hope OJ gets to use the classic "Why is it that everything today has involved things either going in or coming out of my ass?" line on a daily basis.

I wonder the families of Goldman and Brown are happy about this, or peeved that they won't collect any more money? Unless they take a large portion of his license plate making money.
