Solar tech that's reasonable for charging a 12V battery?

I'm thinking of building my own hookah dive system just for going down 20-30 feet. Thinking of buying a couple 12V air compressors for pumping tires on the road, taking them apart and cleaning out the oil and replacing it with olive oil or something (no clue). Then buying a hose and maybe a face mask at a dive shop.

This will allow me to fart about at shallow depths and if hard times hit, feed my Phil family on whatever is down there. The creapest commercial system I can find is $799.

But I need a solar power dealy to charge the bats if electric is hard to come by...and to do my part to cut carbon. Anyone know of a reasonable solar panel?

Can charge the bat in the daytime and use it at night/cloudy conditions by having 2 12V car bats.

I could get one of these but I'm going to try a big home center in Eugene first. Got to look the for the 12 V compressors anyway.

Buy an air car from Tata Motors of India. It comes with a buillt-in air compressor.

If you were a carp. Wait, no, I take that back. Carp are freshwater and if I'm not mistaken, you'd be doing your diving in the ocean. You'd still be screwed.

Call me crazy, but I think you should stick with petroleum based oil for the compressors. Olive oil belongs in food, not machines.

Breathing the petrolium based oil can kill you.
