I will be sitting on the balcony off the master suite of my beach house. My feet will be up. There will be a glass of rum and diet coke in one hand, maybe a cheap paperback thriller in the other.

There's a knock on the door downstairs. It's Lancer, Dolores and the clan coming over for tonight's party. But there's a bunch of people already downstairs prepairing for it, so eehhh, they can let them in. I'm too damn lazy.

I predict I'm going to become a potato farmer in my twilight years. It wasn't in the plan but plans change and it sure is nice to eat.

I'm still hoping for this plan, but wondering at the engine that drives it as it sputters and coughs. I still hope to drink a fair share of your rum my friend.

Obama wins the election but the piggy bank is empty and the economy is in bad shape. He does his best but his hands are tied and he ends up a one term President. He'll suffer for the failings of other people but that's the way it goes.

Oerdin, I think there's an 800 lb gorilla in the ring with McCain and Obama, and whoever wins the election, the economy is going to hurt our dreams as I discussed with Zkrib.

Screw the politicos, I want to know what people think will happen in the next 5 years to them, all things considered.

Obama never made it to office because Bush corrupted the government in such a way that only his friends and family will ever run the country.

Lack of funding due to "God doesn't want us tampering with the universe" causes NASA's ISS to crash into earth along with their reputation as spacefaring leaders.

Meanwhile China makes an early landing on the moon, with plans to build the first moon hotel, Shuangyong Hotel. American's not allowed in.

Regarding my life, I would have gotten my PR in Singapore (2010), finished my game, finished my application (pouring in 100's of thousands of dollars a year) and solidified my own design company. These are all in the works right now.

Despite what people think, I would not have gotten married because I don't believe in it. I will have a pet squirrel.

The stock market is going to continue to do poorly. The economy will still be based on credit and there will be one or two more bailouts. Unemployment will grow. I don't predict a depression though, because I think the government will keep pouring on the money.

Frostyboy will slowly sink into a delusional state and spend the rest of his life as an insane hobo in the London underground. He will start conversations with inanimate objects and ask for the location of the Sears Tower.

Yes, gas prices especially. Generally, it won't be that bad unless they really try to push for more employment. I don't think they will though.

Interesting. Suppose there is no 700 bn deal? They quit tonight without one. Bachus wasn't even there, he left because he said the repugs gave him no authority to deal. Seems like gridlock...

And where do you suppose this money comes from?
