  • Is it Obama for Prime Minister?

The last few days there have been loads of large scale posters, at various stations across London, of Barrack Obama. He stands in front of a completely black background, save for the instantly recognisable "10" of Downing Street fame.

I don't get the point. Anyone know who is paying for these posters and why? Or do we have to wait a few weeks before the answer is revealed? (My google searching skills have failed me. )
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

It's probably a street artist. We have one of those in L.A. He goes around putting his political posters up all over town.

I once noticed big posters saying "Freedom of Speech" here in Berlin, without any comment initially. I thought it was some big political thing, but after some weeks it turned out to be a stupid ad for a phone/telecom company

Maybe the UK is going to cede sovereignty to the US if we elect Obama?

These are proper advertising billboards and posters in fixed hoardings. Someone is paying for the advertising space, and I assume it's for a primarily commercial reason, but reflects political view as well.

you can see how much the tories have tried to change over here by the fact that cameroon appears to love Obama
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Cameroon? What does Nigeria think on this?

They think that Obama should e-mail them his bank account details in order to take ownership of a $300 million campaign warchest that is made up of donations from all of the people of Africa.

The tories would never allow one darkie to lead them, let alone a whole country full of 'em.
