  • Happy First Day of Autumn

If Charles Schultz were still alive, he'd have a Peanuts strip out with Snoopy dancing through piles of leaves just raked up by Charlie Brown. I can't find any of those images, but I found one without the leaves:

Happy first day of Autumn, everyone.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Nope. I've only been to Santa Rosa once. That was to spend a night during a drive up to see Lancer & Dolores. If I'd have had more time, I've have stopped in. I love Charles Schultz!

I love the line in REM's "Nightswimming", where he sings the words "September's coming soon".

It brings tears to my eyes each time *sniff!*

Uh...you must use some weird Russian Orthodox calendar. In the rest of the world, the Sun just crossed over the Equator, and so it's Autumn.

There are three winter months, three spring months, three summer months and three autumn months. The latter are September, October and November.
Also, you sentence is incorrect. the Sun crosses the equator every day, if you even can say that.

They don't have calendars with the informative notes, like Start of Spring on them.
Just, We're Screwed Today, noted on every day.

                          .
I was speaking of the Russian calendar: Three spring days, three summer days, three autumn days, and three hundred and fifty-five winter days.
