  • I watched a show on fizziks that is freakin bugging me.

The Sci channel, about the atom. The atom can be in two places at once it seems. In fact, the fella said, the atom only sits still when it is being observed. Well. That is interesting. He termed it 'the measurement problem'. Speculated that since the universe is made of atoms that the universe is only the universe when someone is looking at it. That's kinda funny.

But what if every living thing no has eyes? The universe would cease to exist?

This is why it should be illegal to try to teach physics to non-physics people.

Does that mean I am incapable of performing telekinesis with the sheer power of my quantum mind?

I read a book by STEPHEN HAWKINGS. He was hit by a fast moving atom and it ruined his ability to walk and talk. What his book says, basically, is that time changes depending on how fast you are moving. So if you are in a super fast car, you will live a lot longer than if you spend your life in a Civic. I want to make one thing clear: String theory is TRUE, and states that the universe is, in its most basic form, a bunch of vibrating rubber bands that, when they stretchy strechy enough, rip in half and create everything from pot holes to black holes to nuclear detonations. The only people who deny this are Orthodox Jews and Roman-era pagans. If there is a question you have about Hawkings' work, I will be on for the next twenty minutes.

Go watch 'What the Bleep Do We Know?'. It is just as mind-blowingly bad at physics.

How the **** are you supposed to become a physics person if no one will teach you physics?

That's the whole point. The fields of physics will become extinct and all will be happy.

A non physics person is someone too dumb to ever understand physics. They are everywhere, and you must be watchful for them especially in philosophy and women's studies departments.
