I don't think that any state should consider itself safe from a barrage of ads.
A big thing on election day will the the ground game. The Obama people showed how well they can run a ground campaign when they beat Hillary (all that stupid and useless community organizing "experience") Chosing Palin helped McCain light a fire under some of the evangelical foot soldiers that have been so critical to Republicans in the last two presidential elections, but I think Obama's ground forces are better prepared, and will have more money to scrape votes together in November.If you don't like reality, change it! me

I always have to laugh because even if my wife didn't neutralize my vote every time, it's been a long time since a repug carried Illinois, and even when it happens, the dems still get the electoral votes, so I seem to just be wasting my time. The truth?
It would be a huge step towards saying that blacks and whites were equal in the US. This is good for everyone, for one thing, there are some african americans who blame their position on their race and might not do as much as they could to change it. Also, it would inspire african americans and other racial groups that they are equal partners in the US.
Note a woman would probably do the same, but the sex relations doesn't have near as many problems in the non-muslim US compared to race relations.
