we actually get good gas mileage on the toyota bout 24 to the gallon. We dont haul anything on a regular basis but have had the need in the past for a truck to pick up appliances, move, and drop things off that dont fit in a car. I have moved from a suv to the truck so in a sense its not really that different excpet the amount of room inside the vehicle. I dont think its a man thing but like i said the docs at my work swear on it.

        Chicks in trucks

I got rid of my truck, which I loved, but wifey didn't like toting Josie around in it. It was hard to get groceries and and one car seat in it, and now we have two car seats and it would have been even harder. I now have a 5.7 mile commute, and I drive a 2001 grand prix.

        Wifey now drives this:

i like her car japh my suv wasnt that big but thats nice. My kids are older now so i dotn need car seats which is why i thought the truck would be practical. Tuber drives a 2001 saturn when not in my truck but he still loves to drive the truck. I feel the drop when trying to get into his seat of that car its so low to the ground compared to the Toyota. In a flood situation id feel safer in the truck. But other then that i see that most men that have answered here dont like trucks. So i guess this theory of driving a truck is in a mans genes is a wash.
