an oxymoron if I've ever heard one.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Principles of cost-benefit analysis in a Canadian context
Canadian context? Why would cost-benefit analysis be in any context? Especially a Canadian context?

Principles of Cost-Benefit Analysis in a Canadian Context [18] is a book that emphasizes the importance of having a finite economic life or LCCA for typical public sector projects such as dams, bridges, and hydroelectric facilities. All economic methods are included in addition to presenting practical methods for accounting for risk and uncertainty in cost-benefit analysis. Three cases of projects throughout Canada are presented and their economic evaluation is discussed. These projects are the Northumberland strait fixed crossing project, the Trans Labrador highway project, and the Rafferty-Alameda dams project.

Why a whole course on cost-benefit analysis? I got my BBA in Finance and cost-benefit analysis is critical in that field but we never had an entire course on it. Then again, it was talked about in just about every class but still, how can they drag out something as simple as net present value and what not over the course of an entire semester?

Because in public policy, determining the net present value of a Dam or another large public work is difficult...

                            ENGL3830 - American Lit to 1870
MILS 1180 and 3341 (Army ROTC)
                            PHYS 1052 - Solar System

So far it looks like I'll only have to spend maybe 100 bucks on books, instead of 2-3x that like usual.

ROTC should cover your books. Let it be known that during my senior year of college I took courses on Islamofascism, homosexuality in Paris in literature, particle acceleration, and the psychological makeup of non-neutered African males as opposed to the ones with the penis skins. One of my friend made notecards and drawings of the penis, leading to much ridicule and hilarity when we had drunk sex. Electives are very easy to come by when you plan early, save some of the party for later
