Interesting please elaborate Would it effect the incidence and severity of blisters, soreness and chafing?

Thanks for the reference. I think I understand.

So say you are on a life raft drifting in the Pacific, as you do, and you have managed to acquire a sizeable water barrel
(containing just plain water), and a cup. During the day in all that heat you sweat perfusely, should you augment you plain water intake with an odd half cup of sea water?

Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

Yes indeed..... dammit, can't a find a copy of the Harry Potter ep on Robot Chicken that I'm actually internet savvy enough to post here. So google it or something. It's very relevant to the thread.

Well I googled it and found that chaffing effects people quite often when running, but I suppose walking a lot could do the same thing.

Apparently though it mostly effects bigger people due to body parts being closer together and rubbing (like thighs and the groin)...

I'm 6'2" and 170 lbs and I've never had this problem because I can fit air between my body parts guess that's why I don't have this problem.

Apparently the worst part is that you get tired and make stupid ass mistakes like using "to" in the thread title instead of the required "too."

                        Dehydration is terrible.

Chaffing only happens if you are fat.

How much time did you spend? That's your biggest loss.

@Jon Miller: And dehydration only happens if you have a fat head! So go stick your fat head in the air between Ramseya's body parts!

@DanQ: Thank you very much good sir.

@Slowwhand: You assume I had something better to do with the time. I got a lot of needed exercise. That said, about 12 hours, but that's not accounting for the time I rested at the bookstore.

I did gongfu training in Beijing and one summer it was so hot I lost part of my field of vision. I would look at my father's eyes and be unable to see his nose or mouth. I think it was part of heatstroke or something. There were entire portions of my field of vision that were filled with shimmering lights. A similar thing happened when I was on vacation as a kid in Malaysia and it was really hot.

I've talked to some friends about this and they said that migraine sufferers often have the same problem.
