Setting aside the bomb iran joke, the man is a vehement hawk with a major league temper. I think it's quite reasonable to worry about the way President McCain would handle a crisis. His comments regarding the Georgian situation have not alleviated my concerns (on the contrary!).

This actually brings up a good point. Many Senators and Congressmen have critical details withheld on national security details. Most of the committee members for armed services and intelligence recieve detailed briefings, but most other Senators and Congressmen have to request them and the are designed around specific subjects and with an eye to the risk that the particular representative may pose.Originally posted by Rufus T. Yeah, that's pretty funny.
I'd imagine that both candidates are pretty much equally aware of what's what. The only difference would be that McCain might be more privy to some dirty republican secrets that have brewing the past eight years. But, hell, I think every book published in the last two years has exposed them.
