    Chatolic vids on youtube.

    After being freaked out by Muslim vids on youtube, I'm starting to look at the vids of other religions.

    Chatolic Come home vid



    Overall most of youtube is filled with anti-Catholic BS, the above are one of the few vids made by Catholics. And for the most part they don't seem scary. Some of the evangelical Christians stuff is similar but some other Protestant vids seem, well, rather intellectually bankrupt. Also most Orthodox vids appear to be mixed up with one or the other kind of eastern European nationalism.

    By intellectually bankrupt I mean stuff like this.

      but they know their power is getting weaker by the minute (unlike muslims who still hold their respective states closely tied to religion) Catholics are trying to reinvent themselves thus they have to be nice with appealing music and masses of people in video support...

        I think I more or less agree with this. But why is Orthodoxy which is in an even weaker position not taking the same route?


        Also why are American Christian protestant fundamentalists as scary as Muslims?

            is it not? actually I have no idea how are they doing, but still Orthodox guys are "official" state religions in Russia, Greece, Srbija and the like I think, which might give them a bit more false safety enabling them to play tough (if they do that is, as I am not really aware of it)...

              Are you sure you're not aware of Russian or Serbian Orthodox Christianity taking such a route?

                  btw for Russians/Serbs - well that is just the nature of the game... the state still uses religion to it's advantage (wander how long will that last though)

                      Actually the last acceptable prejudice in the west is anti-muslim, although anti-trasvestism is a pretty popular non-religious prejudice that mostly gets a free ride.
