You're wrong on both counts.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Define you? Physically the person you are today isn't the person you were 10, 15, 30 years ago. A more fun question to argue over, is who you are now mentally, and how long will you be around for without changing...
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.
A good Christian friend of mine quotes a Bible passage that he says states God has known us since the beginning of time. Under this theory, we were with God, presumably in Heaven.
Earth is kinda the heavenly equivalent of Las Vegas. If you're in heaven, you come down here for a vacation from the fun-nazis upstairs. But if you have too much fun while you're here you have to suffer the heavenly equivalent of waking up naked in the desert with missing kidneys.

@Zkrib...Yeah, I've been wondering about that myself. Whatever it was I for one have no knowledge or memory of it. Then again, maybe we didn't do anything. Maybe we came to this Earth by choice so that we could appreciate heaven better when we got back. Maybe we want a promotion and this is the test. Maybe all things are known to us there and the challenge is gone and we got bored. Maybe we slipped on a banana peal and fell into the 'down you go' slot.
Hard to tell at this point. Will know more when this body assumes room temp.
