  • the interweb solves everything: it's all about geography

ok let's geographically unite nations! it's the logical thing to do!

from a comment on the guardian by "DavidNcUsa" on the georgia-ossetia-russia "conflict"
The geography is clear. South Ossetia is a small piece of land that groups geographically with Georgia. At a minimum, it is hard to see anyting unreasonable in the concept that South Ossetia should be integrated into Georgia along with guarantees for the rights of people who are a majority in that particular territory but a minority in Georgia overall.

Geographically, no borders in one global superstate would be the easiest solution. No?

      Imagine there's no countries
      It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
      And no religion too
      Imagine all the people
      Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Its quite clear that Geographically Canada should be part of the US.
Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.
The simple suggestion of a true change scandalizes and terrifies modern man. -Nicolás Gómez Dávila

I'd rather Canada took over America than the other way around.
