I think "They" consist of 30 million individuals, and should not be addressed or speculated about as a single group.
I think speculating about presidential candidate assassination is vey much a negative-sum game. Such talk does not help folks figure out who to vote for. Such talk does tend to induce despair, or at least, a "why bother" mentality that has no use to anyone. Such talk will only be remembered if it happens, but contributes nothing to stopping the action.
Therefore, sit on this talk. No value is gained!!
