I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- NedComment

In other Iraq news, looks like trouble's brewing in Kurdistan. The two branches of the Peshmerga just merged into a unified structure (the division was previously a roadblock to Kurdish nationalism). Barzani, Guv of the province and head of the KDP just threatened to annex Kirkuk if an agreement over elections isn't reached.
