Lindsey is a weirdo. It's one of those "he's the AC" screamers that screams "He's the AC" anytime a new leader stands up somewhere somehow.

Having said that: Obama surely doesn't have problems with a failing ego. I'd defenitely never vote for someone who's that happy with himself and talks like he's going to fix all world problems. He sounds a bit like Tom Cruise in that stolen video. i once thought i was the antichrist,

in a dream someone said my name was

          "sean leonard taylor"

and if i just mention the letters used without repeating them

          s e a n l o r d t y

          rearrange

          l o r d s a y t e n

          or

          l o r d s e y t a n

          weird dream, freaked me out

and i was trying to achieve world peace in a book i'm trying to write...

I prefer to vote for candidates that show realistic targets and dare to put them selves down as people who can't solve anything.

Fortunately dutch politics are quite down-to-earth compared to ie. the USA politics.
But to be honest, I do indeed not know right now whom I would vote for if there would be dutch elections right now.

I admire Ron Paul's honesty and I believe that, if by some miracle he were elected, he would do what he says.

That's the problem. The guy wants to get back to the gold standard and supports Austrian Economics (the school of economics that ended up rejecting an empirical foundation), and the attack on fractional reserve banking kookery that cripples Libertarian parties from having any real influence.

What are the odds he'd get any of that through Congress?

He'd spend four years not invading anybody. I think that's good enough.

No he wouldn't. Your country needs war in order to justify its astronomical military spending. If Paul tried to stop wars happening, he would be removed from office.

You know how that famous communist Dwight Eisenhower warned that creating a massive form of military Keynesianism was a bad idea? It now has its hand around the heart of your government and there is nothing that anyone can do.

The Rapture is a funny thing. It's never mentioned directly in the Revelation or Daniel, but is a theological construction based on a little bit of Daniel, a little bit of the Revelations, a little bit of the gospels, a little bit...

Again, if you put all the people like him with the people who believe Obama is a Muslim, and with the people who won't vote for him because he's black and the people who think that climate change is a socialist conspiracy, and the people who still believe in WMD.

Take all those people, and account for the overlaps and you will have a sizeable majority.

And people still believe in democracy.... hey ho...
