They say the communist party in St. Pertersburg has made such a request to the orthodox church. The OC however was not amused since he killed teh christians.

Question however is why would commies have anyone canonized by the church? And why Stalin, who killed lots of commies during his rule? Me thinks they are a little bit confused

And Nicholas II was German. And Disraeli was a Jew, and Elizabeth II is German as well. Obama is half-Kenyan.
