Most of the shows produced in Canada and shown in the US are still US shows, though - produced by and for US networks. There's probably way more actual Mexican shows (in Spanish, made by Mexican stations primarily for distribution in Mexico) than actual Canadian shows in the US.

Also forthcoming are adaptations of "Merhak Negia" ("A Touch Away"), a story of forbidden love between an Orthodox Jewish woman and a Russian immigrant.
Will there be viewers shouting, "Dude, DUDE, don't do that! She'll shave her hair as soon as you marry her! And you'll have to screw her through a hole in a blanket!"?
Both are myths.

The actual answer overall would be either Britain, in terms of adaptations, or Mexico in terms of actual shows produced elsewhere and then shown in the U.S.
and of course it speaks of a recent trend, because historically it would obviously be the UK.

Nobody watches the shows whose ideas came from Israel, so they do not count."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

the question is not where shows have been produced, but rather who exports most ideas.

Yeah, I'm shocked that Indian shows aren't exported to the US... totally .“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
