Since I broke up with my last girlfriend a year and a half ago, my average amount of sex is about once every six months.
If you include the two years with her (in a long distance relationship) then the average jumps to a little under five sexual encounters per month.
And if you stretch it back to the beginning of my sexual history, which includes another year of being single and slightly less than two years with my first girlfriend, the average increases to nearly seven sexual encounters per month. At the time, however, I was probably having sex just about every other day.
