No, it didn't. I'm at work, or I'd do the research now, again, to present to doubters. Someone else can scurry off and go see.

Let me point out again that Texas leads in exonerating due ro DNA tests.
You know what that means, though, Slowwy. It means Texas leads in wrongful death penalty convictions. A state like Wisconsin doesn't release anyone from death row on DNA evidence, because it doesn't have anyone on death row at all.
But I expect you'll just call me a dumbass and ignore facts and logic. Keep your chin up, though. You aren't as bad as BK.

Actually, when Texas surrendered to the United States, it lost any possibility of thinking of itself as an independent nation. You may have joined us, but then you left and we conquered you. You are a subject territory, not a freely associating republic.
BTW, the terms of the treaty were not that Texas could leave, but that Texas could be split into five states. Part of Texas became: Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. So the former territory of Texas can still be split twice more.

Spin it in the manner that makes you comfortable. Texas leads in both executions and in using DNA evidence to make sure. We've gone down this road many times.
This thread isn't about DNA, nor about the death penalty. It's about crank yanking United Nation members wringing their hands and thinking the U.S. holds sway over Texas. It doesn't. I think you know that.

The question would be "Has a review of his case been done". The answer is "Yes", because an appeal is a type of review...
The question was actually:
Are appeals the same as reviews?

As Sloww is saying, it is because Texas, especially Dallas, using DNA testing more than any other state. We had a thread on this awhile back.
Again, if they are putting more people on death row, then they will use DNA testing more often.

Eat it, Will. Since I was responding initially to Slowwy, his assertion is the one we are discussing. If you wish to make a different statement, an assertion that it isn't merely DP cases where Texas leads, but all cases, then you need to explicitly differentiate that.
However, all that would tell me is that Texas still gets it wrong more than it gets it right, and thank goodness DNA testing is there to stop Texas from running roughshod over its citizens.

You are confusing someone who is precise and accurate with being anal.
You are just a sloppy ferrener to me.
