    Omfg!!!1

    Please say it isn't true that Leonardo di Caprio is going to be making a live-action version of 'Akira'

    wherein:

    The setting will be changed to 'New Manhattan' instead of NeoTokyo.

    The 'post-apocalyptic' theme will be removed or altered for 'american sensibilities'.

    They are taking what remains one of my favourite movies and basically ****ting on it.

    This will turn a great 'gritty' sci-fi into a frenetic "Speed Racer" excrementory exclamation.

          I also have some guilt for you to feel that I can't be bothered with.

          I'm keeping my bitterness and happiness 'in-house', but I do have some ennui and savage introspection that I'm looking to farm out to low-bidding sub-contractors.

          Any takers?

          Also, I hear a lot about this 'perspective' thing and how I need it, but I just don't see a lot on offer these days.

            I'm more worried about the live-action GiTS... And Max Payne.
