  • What did you do before the Internet?

I was playing games when my parents worked. But what the hell did they do during work? I can't imagine working without the Internet, for both work and leisure purposes. I think I would be bored to death without it and as clueless about the world as the neighbours cat.

I'd have to go to the library to learn stuff!

I remember a conversation I had with my boss once, he said that he can't remember at all how he used to run the business before the Internet. (Which started in 1978!)

Played, watched lots of demos, used BBS's & did 3D rendering stuff (with Lightwave mostly).

Nowadays i rarely bother to use computer that doesn't have internet connection - maybe as a music/video player sometimes..

        I went outdoors.

Strangely - I found work much easier before the internet - and email in particular.
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Too much fresh air is not good for you. Go to China instead.

Also, had lot less porn. I don't think anyone would like to go back to dark ages.

I read more. Played more video games. Went outside more. But before the internet also coincides with before I became depressed, so it's difficult to see anything other than correlation.
