I'm sure there had to be one politician sometime in history who didn't lie but I honestly can't think of any examples. I have no doubt the vast, vast majority of them lie when ever it is convenient.

Washington never claimed to have chopped down a cherry tree. That little story was made up by one of my ancestors, Parson Weems, in his biography of Washington. Washington also made no claim of tossing a coin over the Potomac.

Great-great-great grandpa was an awful liar.

One is delusional if they don't think that Bush's ground game wasn't substantial in winning the election. Hell, it was substantial in the Florida mess (if one remembers the Republicans pounding on the doors of one of the recount centers).

It's more than that. Rove is deperate to avoid being remembered as the guy who foisted the worst post-WWII president on America AND turned the GOP into a minority party for at least a generation. So he's also essentially saying, "hey, I didn't do anything Obama hasn't done."

                    Nice try, Karl.

The Dems still have plenty of time to screw up the election.

They already had excellent try with primaries. I think they can be counted on it.

Barrack Obama is a politician, just like any other policitian he does what works. If he has to give a blow job to Rupaul to win a certain percentage of the votes, he'll do it!

                          They're all the same

That explains why he came out against the invasion of Iraq when it was still wildly poplular.

Because it was wildly popular in big Democrat enclaves like Obama was running in?
