The large government juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and Commerce. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 22%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling, Information Technology, and Uranium Mining industries.

A ban on unsolicited cold calling in all forms is in effect, an underground movement of cigarette smokers has sprung up in response to a government ban, citizens drive tank-like vehicles with mounted machine guns, and the study of medicine is popular throughout slupia. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is moderate. Slupia's national animal is the unicorn, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the stanley nickel.

slupia is ranked 4th in the region and 15,409th in the world for Nudest.
