As Mike H alluded to above, Poly is not really very rock 'n roll, so a few negative comments here shouldn't be taken as an accurate indicator of blokes' tastes.

Personally I like belly-button piercings. I think they're cool and cute, even though I'm not generally attracted to body-piercing. In fact, my current GF and my ex both got theirs done because they liked mine.

I'm definitely not considering one. I was just wondering how 'Poly felt about them. My friend couldn't touch her stomach for three days without wincing from the pain. And this was during summer soccer. If I ever did get anything else pierced it'd probably be my tongue, but I really doubt I'll do that.

The one thing I think is disgusting is putting rings inside your earlobes or, God forbid, your nose. I have seen one person with rings in his nose so huge I could see the bridge in his nose. All I could think was how is he going to ever get a decent job.

Yeah, inserts are seriously gross. Various piercings, including bb, are a complete waste IMO. I see lots of nose studs, but some are so small you can almost ignore them.

I think that small tasteful piercings can be quite sexy (same with tattoos), but as with lots of things once it's taken too far it rapidly becomes rather ugly in my view.
