This happened to David gregory too. Sitting in one place for a long time and being old can lead this to happen. Clot forms, then causes death within 24-48 hrs.Comment

No, mostly it's the immobilization. Look up David Gregory. This was his problem because he spent a lot of time in Iraq in his tank, killed him
