I'm just an innocent observer who has noticed you are ageist. It really is a shame. We need to have people who are willing to fight against ageism.

I wonder if he did not get a pulmonary embolism resulting from his long trip to Italy.

This happened to David gregory too. Sitting in one place for a long time and being old can lead this to happen. Clot forms, then causes death within 24-48 hrs.

On airplanes, this has nothing to do with sitting in one place for a long time but with the bad quality of the air (which incidentally, was a lot better when smoking was still allowed).

No, mostly it's the immobilization. Look up David Gregory. This was his problem because he spent a lot of time in Iraq in his tank, killed him

The mechanism for thrombosis in travellers is probably due to a combination of immobilisation, dehydration and underlying factors.
Though I think he actually had a heart attack.

I dunno, I used to play Traveller and there was nothing about immobilization or thrombosis in it.

This is sad, but to say he was a master of hard hitting questions just demonstrates how low journalism has sunk.
