    In short: former Minister of Education Luc Ferry denounces unequal evaluation of dissertations. Internal investigations have shown that the same copy can be graded from 3/20 to 17/20 depending on the corrector.

                That's a pretty silly attitude to take. They're definitely not meaningless; they just don't have the meaning we seem to think they're supposed to have. Big difference.
