    How big is your music library?

    Mine is getting ridiculous.

    The one on my MacBook, which includes all my classical rips is over 100GB. All my popular music and jazz on my desktop machine comes to this:

    1 bookcase style CD/DVD rack which is 2/3 CDs. About 400 CDs or so total.

            What illegal downloads?

            I buy 2-3 CDs a week, and I have been buying CDs for 18 years now. Plus I inherited about 8-900 discs when my father died. My wife has a couple of hundred of her own discs.

            Most of my CDs are classical, but I haven't ripped many of them.

                          about 3 weeks worth of music on the PC and a few hundred CDs. very little is duplicated, that is to say that if i have something on CD i won't have in on mp3 and vice versa.
