Take a look at Aventinus beer and the glass it is served in. It is designed to throw the beer to the back of the mouth so one doesn't saturate the palate with sweetness on the tip of the tongue. The perception of sweetness is lessened in this case to make the beer more "drinkable" in a given situation. I enjoyed the malty full bodied smoothness and the roast and fruity character. Quite a remarkable wheat beer.
