About a year ago I was doing some work at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach and just the day before a bald eagle got electrocuted on a high power line. Supposedly it was part of the first breeding pair of bald eagles they had in that part of the state in like 40 years and it only made it a few months before it got fried.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.Comment

From what I understand, it's only the smaller, faster, turbines that are a problem. The ones that use large turbines are much slower and don't have anywhere near the level of bird death.
