I doubt if there's a formal organization.

But a lot of rich, powerful people are going to know and pal around with other rich, powerful people. So there is probably the functional equivalent of the Illuminate in a "old boy's club."

Reds, there's two possible different takes on 'yes'. Add them up and you'll get a better picture. Either the folks, like Zkrib, believe in an informal arrangement or you go for the great formal conspiracy. Either way you take the power out of the hands of the people and make the election a placebo for those same gullable people.

I'm talking about a higher order of control over ones life and the life of the world, the Illuminati. Then again, it's handy to be able to run like that.
