    Pluses of Hillary:
    (A) She has the support of white, working class (i.e. non-college graduates). This block has sided with the winning presidential candidate in every election since Reagan in 1980.
    (B) If something happens to President Obama, she will be able to step into his shoes on Day 1.

    Minuses of Hillary:
    (A) Including her on the ticket will energize the Republican opposition.
    (B) Inclusion of an established inside like her on the ticket will erode Obama's theme of "Change."

I think her minuses outweigh her pluses.

That's what's called an assumption. In this case, your assumption is wrong.

        A. I think the Republicans will be energized enough.
        B. Obama never had the theme of change to anyone mature. The other people stopped believing in his "change" when they heard about how he got to the state senate. The remaining people who believe in "change" really would just blindly believe anything.

If this story is true, I seriously question Hillary's sanity. VP is the ****tiest job in this whole god-forsaken city.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

I've heard you repeat this a number of times but it doesn't get any less lame or laughable as it ages. "OMG! Obama found his opponent didn't have enough legal voters who signed his petition for candidacy so he's TEH EVIL!"

You know damn well any politician would object if the opposition tried to get on the ballot using signatures from other states. The whole point of a electing a local representative is to represent local people. The other person just got lazy and got caught; tough break for her.

I'm with Imran. She should look for a committee chairmanship or Senate Majority leader. Lord knows Harry Reid just lets people walk over him when he should be fighting.

I doubt it. I don't think it'll be all too long after the Democratic Convention and when you start referring to Obama as a socialist.

No doubt they did check the signatures on his petition to run for office only most politicians make sure they get A LOT more signatures then necessary just in case some of the signatures turn out to not be valid.

The chick he beat in the state senate primary just made an rookie mistake which sank her campaign.

Could Gore have gotten the nomination for Prez if he hadn't already been VP?

WTG, Imran. Being consistently assuming. What you said indicates that you don't pay one bit of attention to anything I say. There are so many wrong assumptions in your remark, I'm not going to bother addressing them. Think what you want.
