What I'm saying is, I don't want Hillary to be president. If, against all odds, she is, I hope she proves me wrong. If she's successful, we'll be successful

They are all, at the heart of it, politicians. Hope for the best, expect the worst. That's all anyone needs to know.

FWIW, I thought McCain's appearance on The Daily Show yesterday was, in fact, pretty weak. If he's supposed to be the worldly, post-cynical realist, he sure looked out of his element.

And the pandering Dwight Shrute reference was just embarrassing.

Is that in response to me? If so, how the **** do you get that from your prisoner of war vs prisoner at home comment?

Oh, and your political system is thoroughly corrupted and all of the candidates suck in their own special way so I think we have to define successful.

Because you dismissed his POW status so readily.
In response, I offered a comparatively easy challenge.
Let's don't leave this point neglected, you know when you'll get out, and that you will get out.
There are still POW/ MIA's. I ask you to spend a month inside your home in response to your comment, and you don't get it?

New ones or are you talking about POWs still in Vietnam...?

MIA's are a different matter (unless you want to imply they are still alive and being held).

Given McCain has been willing to do 13 appearances to date on the Daily show ( an absolute politcal minefield) vs. Obama's bravery at facing Fox News all of one time

They'll be playing GTA4 while they do it though.

Not really. South Park is more the cynical approach. Daily Show is definitely left of center especially the morons amplifying and whooping it up in the crowd. McCain has been relatively successful there in the past because he was viewed as anti-GOP anti-Bush. Funny that the first stinger used by Stewart was an attempt to tie him to Bush when in fact McCain has historically shown himself not to be.

Seriously though, start another thread for this nonsense.
Dashi, Sorry to hear you have lost your mind.

You start a thread about if McCain is ready to be President and you don't want any comparison to his likely opponent?

                        "Tool of the Week"?

Whose tool would that be? Because I reach different conclusions than you about things makes me a tool? Interesting thought process there.....
