Actually, I wish I could have a special title.

"Wang" is "King" in Korean, but it's really funny in English. Also, it's four of the five letters of my last name.

Yeah, because it's impossible to have good sci fi(Battlestar Galactica, Stargate franchise, WH40K, Weberverse, Star Wars) where a half-ass attempt is made at "tactics" and "engineering". It all has to be brought down to ST Treknobbabble.
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

Whuh, ENT was rather good in seasons 3 and 4. And feds do have smart phasers. In many occasions, we see the character point the, er, barrel of the weapon at point X, while the actuall beam strikes point Y at an angle.

They also had a teleporter sniper-rifle.

            Oh, and...

Let's face it: most writers are not exactly the world's greatest tactical geniuses, so whenever a war's going on, expect a lot of dumb decisions from tacticians. To pour salt into the wound, these tacticians are sometimes explicitly said to be …

Yeah I thought Enterprise was pretty decent around the Xindi war stuff in season 3/start of season 4.

And like Verto I don't understand the Voyager hate. Admittedly it's not as good as TNG or DS9 and is cheesy in places, but there are some really good episodes as well. Certainly a cut above all recent sci-fi shows with the exception of BSG & B5. It's way better than Stargate for instance.

I watched Voyager for a few years, but gave up on the last few.

                I like Stargate much more.

I liked the idea of Enterprise, to get some Federation history. But the initial execution was poor, and when it started to get going, it got canceled.

I didn't like all the time travel stuff in the various ST shows.

I would have preferred more mirror universe episodes.

                  lol, Stargate.

What utter crock. I've read better fan fiction. At least the movie was fun.

Seriously, the show's similar to Enterprise, in where the search for more money meant that they couldn't just leave something well enough on its own.
