Kids are mostly playing it. As Thompson says, they can buy it easily with little to no verification.

I think a good alternative is to have the game quiz players routinely on facts only adults could know. This would be a great and easy way to make sure no 13 year olds play.

I think the problem is the gaming programmers are virgins, not that they are heterosexual per se. They don't have any understanding of how women actually operate, so they assume certain things that every hetero male finds out are horribly, horribly wrong the first time they actually get any action...

Sadly, most gamers are also rather naive on these details, so they tend to believe them I'm guessing Wiglaf is in this latter category, from his angry face up above...

I don't know how other retailers are but Gamestop has a pretty strict policy on selling M rated games to minors. If any employer gets caught selling M rated games to a minor they are terminated along with the manager. I have been carded the last few times when I bought a M rated game, they use to never card me.
